Good Faith Estimate
Your Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance with a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for services. You have the right to receive a written estimate explaining the expected cost of your therapy services.
My current fees are:
Initial Intake Session: $165
Individual Therapy Session (50 minutes): $165
Other Services (letters, reports, consultations, etc.): $165 per 50 minutes
Because the length and frequency of therapy vary based on individual needs, the total cost of treatment cannot be guaranteed. The estimate provided is based on the information available at the time services begin and may be updated as treatment progresses.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges through the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process. For more information about your rights under the No Surprises Act, visit CMS Good Faith Estimate Information.
