A steady place to find your way.
Thoughtful, compassionate therapy for adults in Roswell, Georgia seeking healing, self-understanding, and meaningful change.
A porch light has long symbolized welcome, belonging, and the promise that someone is home.
I believe each of us carries a light—an inner knowing that guides us through life. This light reflects our capacity for healing and wisdom. It remains present, even when life's challenges make it difficult to see.
Emotional pain, loss, uncertainty, and the demands of daily life can obscure this light, leaving us feeling disconnected from ourselves.
Porch Light Therapy was founded to help illuminate the path forward—supporting mental and emotional well-being while helping you reconnect with the resilience that have been there all along.
The ways we learn to survive can also become the ways we get stuck.
Perhaps you have spent years being responsible, capable, achieving, caring for others, or doing what needed to be done. From the outside, life may look full and successful, while underneath there is exhaustion, anxiety, grief, loneliness, or a sense that something important has been set aside.
Porch Light Therapy offers a place to slow down, understand yourself with greater compassion, and explore how your experiences have shaped the person you are today.
Therapy that honors both heart and science.
I am Sarah Evers, a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Roswell, serving adults throughout Georgia and Florida. My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in evidence-based therapy. I integrate person-centered care with Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and interpersonal neurobiology.
More than any technique, I believe the quality of the connection we build together is paramount. Therapy is something we create together through trust, honesty, and reflection. In every session I bring both clinical expertise and my genuine humanity into the room.
